Abstract

Weick explains how management can create a more resilient organization. His point of view is when organizations are confronted with disasters, all his examples are about natural occurring disasters or problems / accidents occurring because of human or mechanical failure. The way he describes how to prepare an organization for these kind of events is also applicable when organizations are confronted witch disrupting new technology or new fast growing competition. The focus of the organizational resilience is differed, the mindset is the same
