Abstract This mini case gives a light overview of the relation between the way of Evernote is doing business and how that complements with the panarchical transformations as described in the theory of Panarchy (Gunderson & Holling, Panarchy: Understanding Transformations in Human and Natural Systems, 2001). It also tries to make a step towards the theory of disruptive innovation as being discussed by Christensen in his book Innovator’s Dilemma. (Christensen, 1997).
