Abstract

Google is the second most valuable brand on the worldwide market. Ever from the year 2005, Google has been in the top-10 most valued companies of the world. This is an accomplishment that shouldn’t go unnoticed, as Google shows a hyperbolic curve from its position in 2005 towards its current second spot. Although speculations on the internet all show the next big inventions by Google and all speculate about the projected market position of Google. Two main questions remain unanswered: How did Google become second most valuable company in the world and how does Google ensure their position on the market? In this case study the strategy of Google will be analyzed there will be analyzed if, and how, this can be projected onto the Adaptive cycle of resilience.
