Abstract

This mini case study is focused on Stichting Het Geldersch Landscap (HGL)i, located in Arnhem. HGL is a nature and wildlife conservation organization with their focus on Gelderland, one of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands, with their headquarters in a beautiful manor in Arnhem, Gelderland, The Netherlands. HGL is founded on April 16th, 1929, and nowadays the manage nearly 11,000 acres of countryside in Gelderland, as well as a large number of castles, historic houses, ruins and farmhouses. Because of the long history of HGL, they already went through several cycles of change. This mini case study will describe their biggest moment of change, the merge with another local big preservation organization.
