In the digital age we live in, an ever increasing amount of information is consumed through digital media rather than through the traditional (print) media. This “digital revolution” affects all organizations that originally focused on traditional media. In this paper we examine how Netherlands’ largest media company, Sanoma Media Nederland, deals with this “digital revolution” by applying the adaptive cycle of resilience as developed by Abcouwer and Parson.
