In highly dynamic markets, it is not enough to just strive for a bigger market share and improve existing products. A company has to focus, at the same time, on inventing new products for the future. A good way to do is, is implementing an ambidextrous organisation. However, one has to think of how this will be put into practice. When it is not done right, a company can end up in a crisis. In this paper this is illustrated with the help of Xerox.
